Complaints about the party

Conduct of a volunteer, leader or office bearer. Misuse of position. Anything you would hesitate to raise through the ordinary channel.

Acknowledged within 3 working days. Complaints about a person are never routed to that person. Read the grievance procedure before writing, so you know what happens next.

Journalists, interview requests, fact-checking a claim, and corrections to anything the party has published.

A reply within 1 working day for a correction, 2 for anything else. Corrections are published, not quietly fixed.

Legal and compliance

Legal notices, data protection and privacy requests, right-to-erasure requests, and anything raising a statutory obligation.

Acknowledged within 3 working days. Statutory deadlines are tracked separately from this inbox.

Some things belong elsewhere

A problem in your area is an issue, not an email. It gets a reference, an owner and a public trail.
A question you would like answered in public goes to Ask Us, where the answer is published.
A data-protection or erasure request has its own tracked route with statutory deadlines.

What we will not do with your message

It is not added to a mailing list, not used for campaigning, and not shared outside the desk that handles it. Your email address and mobile number are encrypted at rest.
